Beginning the week of June 13 and running through August 26, Steward offers a full summer for students entering grades JK-12. Passages Adventure Camp

• Peak Experience’s Midlothian Climbing Center and Peak Experiences Richmond (for the 5-7 year old group). 
Peak Experiences and Passages expect to run camps as usual this summer.  These camps foster outdoor skills in a non-competitive and fun-loving atmosphere for children between 5 and 17. They offer Full and Half Day adventure programs for kids 5-16 and overnight programs for those 11 and up. Base Camp (ages 5-7) provides a great introduction to fun and adventure! Each session includes indoor rock climbing, swimming, energetic games, a bouncy house, and giant swing.  Day camp (for ages 8-16) offers a wide variety of camps featuring kayaking, rock climbing, mountain biking, stand-up paddle boarding, outdoor survival skills, and a 350′ zip line.

Camp Half-Blood is a fully-immersive camp experience designed for rising 2nd through 7th graders and is based on the Percy Jackson and The Olympians book series. Campers on their journey to becoming legends learn sword-training, armor forging, myth-crafting, storytelling, and more–all with the goal of unleashing the hero within. Camp will run from June 27, 2022 – July 22, 2022 in Forest Hill Park.

ArtVenture summer camps will be on-site and online this summer.  These camps are for kids ages 6-14. ArtVenture runs for 11 weeks, June 20 through September 2. Each class runs from Monday through Friday. On–site classes are scheduled from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. or 1-4 p.m. A supervised, socially distanced lunch hour is included if you’re signed up for on-site classes in both the morning and afternoon. Campers should bring their own lunches. Online classes are scheduled for 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and 1-3 p.m.

Richmond Fencing Club is temporarily closed.  More details to follow.  RFC Summer Camp is a great way for kids ages 9-18 to stay active, have fun, and enjoy the summer while learning and improving their fencing.  Camps are for for both beginner and experienced fencers alike.  Led by a number of college-age competitive fencers who keep the students active through group lessons, competition, footwork, games, technique & tactics, and fencing videos.   Summer Camp begins at 10am each morning and ends at 4pm.  All necessary equipment is provided including jacket, glove, mask, and weapon.  Camps are held in a full-time, air conditioned, fencing facility.

The Steward Summer Experience is proud to offer an array of more than 80 camps that stir the mind, fuel the imagination, and unleash the possibilities for your child. Beginning the week of June 13 and running through August 26, Steward offers a full summer for students entering grades JK-12. Camp options include academics, arts, athletics, and innovation, in addition to more traditional offerings. The Summer Experience offers specialty camps for students aged 4 through rising 12th grade.
