Maymont has several great sledding hills throughout the park.
Chimborazo Park and Libby Hill Park in Church Hill. Beware, Libbie Hill is steep.
The Hill in front of the Boatwright Library at the University of Richmond. Go early before the students wake up!
Virginia War Memorial between Belvidere Street and S. 2nd Street. This hill has a gentle slope and is long.
Bryan Park at Hermitage Road and Lakeside Ave.
Hollywood Cemetery in Oregon Hill. The big hill down the back of the cemetery.
Forest Hill Park at Forest Hill Avenue and W. 41st Street. This spot is great for kids and risk takers alike.
Wellesley Hill off Lauderdale Road in Short Pump.
The hill behind Colonial Heights Middle School.
Byrd Middle School in Western Henrico.
Richmond Street in Chester.
Enon Elementary School and Providence Elementary School in Chesterfield.
Powhatan Hill Park between Williamsburg Road and Fulton Street offers a long even sloping hill.
Westham Park just off Patterson Avenue on Baldwin Road.
A few notes:

- Sledding is allowed in all the city parks after snowfalls during the winter. Sledding on sheets of metal or similarly dangerous material or the use of any sort of mechanized devices on the slopes is prohibited. - Sledding is not permitted at The Country Club of Virginia, The Virginia Capitol, and Roslyn Seminary.
