Join the Children’s Museum of Richmond for a Chinese New Year Celebration on February 3rd.
Celebrations will occur at both locations: 10:00 am-11:30 am at the Children’s Museum of Richmond – Chesterfield and 1:30 pm-3:00 pm at the Children’s Museum of Richmond – Downtown.
The Spring Festival is the most lively and festive day of the year for Chinese people! Join a celebration of the Chinese New Year with dance and song ,see beautiful costumes and the pageantry of the Chinese New Year. Free with museum admission.
The VMFA is hosting ChinaFest: Year of the Wood Dragon from 10am – 4pm. This is a museum-wide event celebrating the Lunar New Year at VMFA. Explore Chinese art and culture through art-making activities, collaborative projects, films, artist demonstrations, and performances. Free, no tickets or registration required. The tentative schedule is as follows:
