Free Trick or Treat Fun in RVA

Tuesday, October 24th

Trunk or Treat. 6pm-8:30pm. Chesterfield County Fairgrounds, 10300 Courthouse Road. Wear your Halloween costume to this family-friendly event. Enjoy trick-or-treating from trunk to trunk, along with music, food vendors and more! Park at school lots across from the fairgrounds. No glass, alcohol or pets. Sponsored by Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation. Rain date is Wednesday, Oct. 25.

Friday, October 27th

Squirrel-O-Ween at the Diamond. 5:30 – 8:30pm. Squirrel-O-Ween is a free family event that provides a safe and fun environment for children to enjoy hay rides and trick-or-treating. Guests are encouraged to come dress in their best costume on Oct. 27 for a chance to win prizes in the Flying Squirrels’ Halloween contests. Contest categories include “Best Group,” “Funniest,” “Scariest,” and “Most Creative.” Dogs will also be able to join the fun. Woofy Wellness Ranch has teamed up with the Flying Squirrels to host a dog Halloween costume contest with K9 prizes for the winners. Squirrel-O-Ween will also feature a Donut Eating Contest for kids ages 12 and under at 6:30 p.m. and a Pie Eating Contest for adults at 7:30 p.m.

Trunk or Treat. VMHC. 5pm-7pm. Join the VMHC and 20+ partner organizations for Halloween fun. Kids will enjoy crafts, games, free museum admission, and of course, treats! Free.

Saturday, October 28th

sCarytown in Carytown. Noon-2pm. Carytown. Bring your family to Carytown to go trick or treating! Look for the treat pumpkin in the window of participating businesses and walk in to get your treats. In addition, catch a classic Halloween movie at The Byrd Theatre & Foundation at 10am (Casper; sensory friendly). Enjoy a Spooky Story Hour at 11am ay bbgb tales for kids. At 2:30 you’ll witness the Richmond Zombie Walk invade the streets starting at the Byrd Theatre–it’s a truly unique day in Carytown.
