SPARC’s award-winning performing arts camps are carefully curated for youth to explore theatrical learning while making friends and expanding their creativity! Camps incorporate skills like creative drama, musical theatre, technical theatre, and more. At the end of each camp session, youth take center stage and perform what they’ve learned for a live audience of friends and family. SPARC’s camps are open to youth ages 4 to 18 with all levels of experience in theatre. With half-day programs for the youngest of campers, early arrival and extended afternoon care, a robust scholarship program, and satellite locations throughout the Richmond community, SPARC’s camps provide flexible, safe spaces for youth during the summer months.! Scholarship is available for all camps with the deadline for applications being April 26, 2023. More information can be found HERE.

OUT Loud
This theatre arts camp is the only one of its kind in the area. During your week, you will learn and use the performing arts to devise your own original piece of theatre to be presented at the end of the week for friends, family, and other community members. Through song, dance, and storytelling you will be able to tell your own unique stories and share your experiences as you grow as a theatre artist and LGBTQ+ community member.
Broadway Blast Camp
In this fast-paced musical theatre-focused camp, youth will learn legendary songs and dances from some of the greatest Broadway musicals. Campers will practice their musical theatre skills during each active day as they prepare to share what they’ve learned in their final shared performance. No audition necessary to be a Broadway star this summer!
