Swift Creek Mill Summer Camps

Swift Creek Mill Theatre

Swift Creek Mill Theatre is a not for profit organization dedicated to bringing arts and culture to central and southern Virginia. Part of our mission is fostering creativity and imagination in the next generation. SCMT’s Youth Education Program features youth shows, summer camps, and after school classes designed to engage children with all aspects of theatre including performing, costuming, set design, lighting, and directing. There is something for everyone, from the creatively curious to the avid performer.

Our building is ADA accessible and our staff is VisitAble trained on inclusivity.

We have two camps in the summer of 2023! Campers “audition,” are cast, and perform in a musical. In addition they will participate and learn behind the scenes aspects of theatre including set design, costuming, and lighting. There is a place for all children at SCMT performance camp, no matter how shy or outgoing!
