Maymont Dominion Energy Family Easter on April 3rd

The Greater Richmond community is invited to hop over to Maymont to experience the delights of spring during Dominion Energy Family Easter on Saturday, April 3, from 9am-3pm on the Carriage House Lawn. The whole family will enjoy seasonal sights and sounds including colorful blooms, Easter Bunny appearances, live tunes from Bach to Rock, entertaining performers, a handful of “egg-cellent” activities widely dispersed on the lawns, scavenger hunts, food trucks and plenty of space for a picnic. The event is made possible by presenting sponsor, Dominion Energy.

In order to provide a comfortable experience for attendees within current public health guidelines, the 2021 event will be modified from the format of previous years. Children ages 12 and under receive free admission. A fee for adults is required for entry into Maymont during the event to allow for adherence to safety protocols. Capacity is limited, and advanced registration is recommended. Entry times are scheduled at intervals to allow for proper social distancing and are designed for families to enjoy two hours on the grounds for Dominion Energy Family Easter festivities. Safety protocols will be based on the Commonwealth’s regulations and guidelines at the time of the event.

Admission to Dominion Energy Family Easter at Maymont is free for children ages 12 and under, and $10 for adults and youth ages 13 and older. For more information, call 804-358-7166 or visit maymont.org/easter.

Families are encouraged to make the most of their day at Maymont by strolling through the blooming gardens, visiting the baby goats at the Maymont Farm, and sharing time with loved ones.
