Free Garden Admission to Agecroft Hall on Mother’s Day

agecroft hallOn Mother’s Day spend the afternoon enjoying  free admission to Agecroft Hall’s gardens and grounds from 12:30-5pm.  Register mom for tea at 1:30pm (Fee$) then take a guided tour of the grand rooms of the museum’s first floor and the Tudor Kitchen. Special emphasis will be placed upon 16th-17th century music, games, and entertainment.  Tickets are required for the free tours and tea, so register early.

At 6pm, a FREE Mother’s Day Concert “Love is in the Air,” will be performed by the Richmond Concert Band.  Tickets are required so register early. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnics for this special free concert.  Agecroft Hall & Gardens is located at 4305 Sulgrave Road, Richmond.

Mother’s Day at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens

lewis-ginter-conservatoryEnjoy a day in the garden and the popular Mother’s Day concert from 1pm-4pm.  And don’t miss the special exhibits – Butterflies LIVE! and Origami in the Garden.  Activities in the Children’s Garden include “make-and-takes” for mom (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.). Food will be available for purchase in front of Bloemendaal House. Guests are also welcome to bring blankets or lawn chairs but no outside food or beverage.

Mother’s Day Tea
