Family Friendly Celebrations for New Year’s Eve

Noon Year’s Eve Celebration.  10am-1pm.   Science Museum of Virginia.   Bring in the noon year with a party complete with a countdown to noon, a drop of 2018  bouncy balls dropped in the Rotunda! Included with museum admission, free for members.

New Year’s Eve Bash. 10am-2pm.  Children’s Museum of Richmond – all locations.  All locations will have a grand parade led by Seymour the Dinosaur, special art projects, and a countdown to noon!  The Central location will even feature a noon year’s balloon drop, a confetti room, and an Education Extravaganza! Central will also welcome the Latina Princess and Belle from 11:00AM-1:00PM, and exciting performances by Chris Campbell Music for Kids at 10:30AM and just after 12:00PM!  The Chesterfield location will enjoy appearances by some of the cast from Stavna Ballet’s upcoming production of Snow White at 10:30AM.   All events are included with museum admission.

Noon Years Eve Bubble Wrap Stomp.  10am-3pm.  Monkey Joe’s.  Noise makers and Bubble Wrap stomp at 12 Noon. Plan to get there early.  Fee.

Kids New Year’s Eve Party.  11am-12:30pm.  The Stage at Triangle Park, Stony Point Fashion Park.  Enjoy balloon twiting, face painting, music and more!  Each child attending, 12 and under, will receive $2 off skating.  RSVP to 267.2745.

Noon Year’s Eve Jump.  2:30-4:30pm.  Pump It Up – Hanover. Fee.

New Year’s Eve Family Frolic.  2pm-5pm.  Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.  Family activities, crafts & live entertainment.  Those who attend the New Year’s Eve Family Frolic and who are already in the Garden can stay to attend Dominion GardenFest of Lights (5 -10 p.m.)  Regular garden admission; all activities included with regular Garden admission.

ChristmasTown.  2pm-10pm.  Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, VA.   Celebrate the season and see eight million twinkling lights, dazzling shows and more.  Through January 1st.  Fee.
