No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars for a Summer Treat

No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars

  • 1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (additional peanut butter needed to melt with chocolate chips – about 2 tablespoons)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  1. Line a 8×8 or 9×9 square dish with aluminum foil.
  2. Mix the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and powdered sugar together until completely mixed.
  3. Stir in peanut butter and spread mixture into prepared baking pan.
  4. In a small bowl, microwave about 2 tablespoons of peanut butter with the chocolate chips until melted and smooth. Spread over peanut butter layer.
  5. Chill until completely firm, at least 3 hours.
  6. Cut and enjoy – so delicious!
