All Fired Up Art Camp is an art-intensive summer camp offering specialized instruction and a wide variety of projects in several art media. Each week has a unique theme to allow repeat campers to have a fun and rewarding experience with each visit. Regardless of the week’s theme, every camp session allows campers to explore the art of clay, ceramics, glass fusing, drawing, wheelthrowing, tie-dye, painting, and more!  The standard Half Day camps are Mon-Fri 9 am-1 pm for ages 6-14. $200 plus tax. The VMFA offers a variety of summer camp options for kids ages 3 to 18.  Five-day camps
Mon – Fri, 9 am – noon or 1 – 4 pm.  Connect-a-Camp is a program for students enrolled in both morning and afternoon youth camps, this program provides supervised activities such as drawing in the galleries and playing games as well as supervision during lunch. Students are required to bring bagged lunches from home.

At the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, kids spend the summer making real art with the help of some of Richmond’s most prominent professional artists.  Week-long summer camp sessions run from 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m. and parents can opt to enroll kids (ages 6-14) in an extended day program when they sign up for both morning and afternoon classes in the same week.  Choose from courses such as Mural Painting, Pet Portraits, Piñata Party and Urban Collage. Whether your child is a scientist, budding “foodie” or is just getting started with cooking, they have a theme that is sure to please. Half Day options are available.

The SkateNation Plus Learn to Skate Camp is an introductory camp for beginner to intermediate skaters.  Students will learn the fundamentals of ice skating using a variety of instructional programs that encourage participation at the recreational level.  Half day options also.
