Lets’ Imagine, Design and Create this summer with Doodle Dynamo!

We offer art themes that are unique and adventurous for every age category. Through inquiry-based instructions, group discussions, and hands-on art activities, students will discover new ideas and techniques in a nurturing environment. Some of the themes are Architectural Wonders, Magical Wonderland, Nature Artist, Animal Explorer, Christmas in July, Jr. Graphic Designer, Photo Zone and Jr. Fashion Designer. Our camps introduce kids to basic art, contemporary art and new age digital art. It is simply the best art summer camp in Richmond area!

Camp Nature Artist (Grade 1-3): In this camp, we will discover how Mother Nature’s palettes and artistry inspire artists, and the children will then create their own masterpieces with traditional art supplies and natural materials. Campers are invited to join us as we experience the many treasures cast in our path this summer!

Camp Animal Explorer (Grade 1-3): Calling all animal lovers! In this fun and educational camp, we will discuss topics including animal classifications, habitats, physical adaptations, endangered species, and more!  Through hands-on activities, we will create relevant arts and crafts as we explore animals from the arctic to the rainforest to the deep blue ocean.

Camp Magical Wonderland (Grade 1-4): Seeing doesn’t always believing—from endless staircases, trick colors, and mysterious moving images to floating fingers and disappearing rabbits, our Magic & Illusion camp has you covered. Between creating impossible objects and teleporting coins, you’ll be fooling yourself and everyone around you as you learn some of magic’s greatest secrets and the fascinating principles which govern our perception.

Camp Christmas in July (Grade 1-4): Join us as we discover the many wonders of Christmas through sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and touch. We will ‘trim the tree’ and ‘deck the halls’ to transform our classroom into a cozy getaway. Our practical creations will include sets of personalized greeting cards and printed wrapping paper. Our keepsake treasures will include glittery snow globes, handmade gingerbread ornaments, hand-stitched stockings, and more.

Camp Architectural Wonders (Grade 4-7): This fun and educational class will offer hands-on activities inspired by building designs around the world including St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Taj Mahal, Notre-Dame, the Great Pyramid, and the Parthenon. We will explore the innovations and physical science behind these structures and will create our very own architectural wonder!

Camp Jr. Graphic Designer (Grade 4-7): Explore the ins and outs of this fantastic field through fun digital design activities. Get to know the graphic designers behind today’s most famous brands, company logos, book covers, movie posters, and what made them great designers! Throughout this fun-filled week of design discovery, you will get to use online design tools similar to professional applications to create your very own posters, business cards, logos and other exciting art and design projects.

Camp Photo Zone (Grade 4-7): Lights, Camera and Click! Are you ready to take on the role of a photographer? Well if yes, then you’re in luck! Great for all skill levels, this camp will cover various types of digital photography such as portraiture, commercial, fashion, nature, and more!
