Each year at the beginning of March, we celebrate the birthday of the beloved Dr. Seuss and Read Across America Day!  March also kicks off National Reading Month.

Founded to celebrate the birthday of the favorite author of millions of children, Dr. Seuss, National Reading Month is aimed at giving kids and teens a chance to improve their reading skills and make reading a daily habit. You can participate in National Reading Month activities, too.

Celebrate Read Across America Day at the Children’s Museum Downtown! There will special story times with celebrity readers, appearances by Pete the Cat, and birthday celebrations for Dr. Seuss!
