This special 100 years celebration is designed to highlight many favorite Disney movies, and is kicked off with a very cute healthy living pre-show featuring Mickey and Minnie.  Disney fans will not be disappointed as there are over 30 favorite Disney songs to enjoy,  and moments where the performance turns into an audience sing-along, most dramatically during  “Let It Go” from Frozen.   Spoiler alert – Favorite characters, Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf are a featured part of the show!

The program opens with a classic character, Jiminy Cricket, singing “When You Wish Upon a Star” and an adorable rendition of “I’ve Got No Strings” with Pinocchio.  Followed closely by extended scenes from Finding Nemo, a sampling of songs from Beauty and the Beast (including a briefly knife wielding Gaston) and short skate dances with Cinderella, Ariel, Tiana, Jasmine, Rapunzel & Snow White and their princes.  All this excitement moves the show right info the pre-intermission arch that transports the audience to Arendale for scenes from Frozenincluding several favorite songs and the special effects of snow when Elsa’s powers are revealed.

After intermission, Aladdin and the Genie (well…lots of genies!) perform “(Never Had A) Friend Like Me”, and the toy soldiers from Toy Story do a great dance/march just before we see Woody, Buzz and Jessie perform “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”.  The final story lines include a sampling of scenes & songs from Mulan, including some beautiful skating during the song “Reflections”.  The finale includes an appearance of favorite characters from the Lion King including Timon and Pumbaa singing “Hakuna Matata”, Nala and Simba dancing to “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” and the entire cast of reappearing for the “Circle of Life” finale.

In typical ©Disney/Feld Entertainment fashion, this show does not disappoint – it is full of high energy, great costumes,  wonderful musical scores – and definite fun for the whole family!
