School Supply Drives and How You Can Help

For the past six years, “Stuff the Bus” has appeared at area Wal-Marts throughout the month of August to collect much-needed school supplies and donations that benefit children in our area.

Stop by a local Wal-Mart or Squirrels game on any of the dates below to help us Stuff the Bus!

  • Aug 2 – Flying Squirrels -12:30 – 2 PM
  • Aug 8 – Forest Hill Wal-mart – 10 AM – 1 PM
  • Aug 8 – Short Pump Wal-mart – 10 AM – 1PM
  • Aug 15 – Ashland Wal-mart -10 AM – 1 PM
  • Aug 22 – Chatanooga Wal-mart -10 AM – 1 PM
Help Lexus of Richmond and Stony Point Fashion Park fill a Lexus NX!  

These school supplies will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Richmond!  Items needed: notebooks, colored markets, pencils, pocket folders, rulers, glue sticks, tissues.  Plus, Lexus of Richmond will match all donated school supplies up to $750!

Drop your off items at the Customer Service office at Stony Point Fashion Park between August 8 – 29.

The Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce Collection

The CCC is collecting school supplies for district teachers through August 14th. The main items being requested:

  • Staplers
  • Tape dispensers
  • Three-ring hole punchers

The Chamber said those are the supplies most often requested by teachers. The Chamber’s leaders are also challenging member businesses to donate one of each items. Cash donations are also being accepted at Chesterfield Federal Credit Union branches.

Supplies may be dropped off at the following locations:

  • Chesterfield Schools Administration Building, 9900 Krause Road
  • Edible Arrangements, 9736 Midlothian Turnpike
  • Omega Learning Center, 7061 Commons Plz #B
  • Commonwealth Photography, 4227 Old Hundred Road
  • Chesterfield Federal Credit Union branches
