Henrico Theater @ 305 E Nine Mile Road, Highland Springs

Ahoy, mateys! Families are invited to set sail for a hilarious adventure when Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers brings Everybody Loves Pirates to the Henrico Theater.
Eight-year-old Lucy and her goofy pal Little Chucky are on a mission to find buried treasure—but a gang of bumbling pirates has other plans! Along the way, the youngsters meet some unusual ocean friends, including the enthusiastic superhero Lobster Boy, his reluctant sidekick Crabby, and an overgrown sea monkey.
The production features 15 hand-crafted mouth and rod puppets and an impressive 8-foot papier-mâché pirate ship. With lots of silly pirate antics and an imaginative underwater adventure, this is a great introduction to live puppet theater for young children.
The show runs approximately 52 minutes, making it a manageable outing even for younger theatergoers.
Best of all, admission is FREE! Donations are appreciated and help support continued free programming in the Richmond community.
