On Saturday, July 4, 2026, families are invited to enjoy a relaxing day exploring more than 50 acres of beautiful gardens, discovering hidden paths, cooling off in the Children’s Garden, and making summer memories together.
Family Fun at the Garden 🌿
There is plenty for kids to explore during this special free admission day, including:
🌳 Klaus Family Tree House – Kids can climb, explore, and enjoy this universally accessible play space.
💦 Waterway Splash Pad – Cool off in the Children’s Garden with water play fun (perfect for a hot July day!).
🦋 Butterflies Bloom – Families can visit the butterfly exhibit (access is limited based on capacity, so arriving early is recommended).
🎨 Art Throughout the Garden – Explore outdoor art installations from the Garden’s current exhibitions, including Alebrijes: Creatures of a Dreamworld. Families can also visit the Kelly Education Center and Robins Visitor Center to see additional art exhibitions.
Kids are encouraged to wear their red, white, and blue and bring decorated wagons or strollers to add to the patriotic celebration! 🇺🇸

🍎 Outside food is not permitted, but food is available at the Garden Café and vending machines in the Children’s Garden.
🚗 Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. Parking lots may temporarily close when full.
