A Fresh Look at a Favorite Destination
After a two-year enhancement project, the Virginia Wildlife Trail is reopening with exciting updates. Visitors can enjoy new and remodeled habitats, more accessible pathways, and improved viewing areas that make it easier to connect with the animals who call this space home. New interpretive signs also help bring each habitat to life with engaging, educational details.
Meet the Animals
Be among the first to welcome some new residents, including two porcupines and a coyote! You can also reconnect with familiar favorites like Finnley the fox, who now has an upgraded habitat to explore.

The celebration runs all day long with free entertainment and activities for the whole family. Highlights include:
