🎨 VMFA Community Celebration: A Family-Friendly Day of Art & Fun

Families are invited to celebrate creativity, community, and 90 incredible years at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts on Sunday, April 12 from 1–4 pm. This free, museum-wide event is packed with activities, performances, and hands-on fun for all ages.

There’s plenty to keep little hands busy and imaginations soaring:

  • Create colorful stamp prints and animal collages
  • Build your own structure in the architecture challenge
  • Enjoy playtime, music, and movement for younger children

Enjoy entertainment throughout the afternoon, including:

  • A lively performance by The Outcasts Big Band
  • Hip-hop line dancing and DJ sets
