Families can enjoy games, crafts, inflatable fun, live entertainment, photos with the Easter Bunny, baby farm animals, and meet-and-greets with princesses and community heroes across the beautiful 100-acre grounds. Bring an Easter basket for prize-filled activities and plan to stay and play all day. There is an admission fee, and fees for some of the activities, but the website lays out all these details. The proceeds support Maymont’s historic gardens, animals, and programs. This event runs 9am-3pm.

This event features live music, visits from local farm animals and, of course, the Easter Bunny himself. Hippity Hop Kids Passes give children access to the Easter Egg hunt, hands-on festive craft stations, bobbing for cider donuts, and more. Those passes are $12/child and no charge for participating parents. This event runs 11am-3pm.

Easter on Parade, the beloved Richmond tradition that showcases attendees “parading” up and down scenic Monument Avenue. There will be music, arts, crafts, children’s activities, food, balloon artistry, and a petting zoo. Don’t miss the people and pet watching – a favorite of adults! A highlight of the is the ever-popular Pet Bonnet and People Bonnet Showcases.
Easter Bunny Visits & Pictures
A picture with the Easter bunny is a staple of many childhoods. Check out these Easter bunnies ready to make your little one smile!
Hop over for Easter Bunny pictures at Short Pump Town Center in the Upper Level inside Pal’s Clubhouse. Reservations are available and walk ups are welcome every day until closing time. Hours are posted online.

Easter in the Plaza on March 28th from 10am-2pm. Short Pump Mall Main Plaza. A fun-filled, family-friendly celebration perfect for little ones and parents alike! Kids will enjoy Face Painting, Balloon Animals, Meet the Easter Bunny, Easter Goody Bags (Limited to the first 120 guests, one per person, while supplies last) and Springtime Games for Kids.
Eggstreme Easter Fun on March 28th from 11-1pm. Photos with a GIANT OVERSIZED Easter bunny, Crafts with RVA Library, Balloon Art, Face painting, Goodie bags to the first 100 kids and more!
