🕛Families looking to ring in the new year early have two fun-filled Noon Year’s Eve celebrations on Wednesday, December 31 to choose from—both designed especially for kids and parents who prefer daytime festivities.

Noon Year’s Celebration – Downtown & Chesterfield
From 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., families are invited to celebrate at both the Downtown and Chesterfield museum locations. The morning kicks off with a festive craft activity where kids can make their own Noon Year’s Eve pom-poms from 9:30–11:30 a.m. As noon approaches, everyone will count down the final 10 seconds together before welcoming the “Noon Year,” followed by a high-energy dance party. Fan-favorite Seymour will be on hand at both locations to lead the countdown and keep the celebration going. Please note that the museum will close early at 1:00 p.m.

Noon Year’s Eve at Stony Point Fashion Park
From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Stony Point Fashion Park hosts a lively Noon Year’s Eve packed with activities the whole family will love. The celebration includes a festive balloon drop, face painting, balloon art, crafts, and giveaways. Kids can enjoy mini train rides with the RVA Express, while families can also take advantage of ice skating, along with warm beverages and treats to stay cozy while celebrating.
