Barnes & Noble’s beloved Summer Reading Program is back for 2025! Kids entering Grades 1 through 6 can earn a FREE book just by reading this summer.
How It Works:
- Read any 8 books this summer—borrow them from the library, a friend, or grab your favorite from a bookstore.
- Download and complete the Summer Reading Journal (PDF)
– Write down the titles and your favorite part of each book. - Bring your finished journal to any Barnes & Noble store between July 1 and August 31, 2025.
- Choose a FREE book from the special list featured inside the journal—there are options for every grade level!
What Makes This Program Great:
- It’s completely free to participate.
- Kids can choose books they want to read—graphic novels, fantasy, humor, classics, and more.
- It helps encourage a love for reading during summer break.
