Puppets Off Broad Street is thrilled to announce the return of its popular puppetry festival for children and adults, featuring local and regionally-based performers. This year’s festival will feature Richmond’s own Barefoot Puppet Theatre & Uncle Ty-Rone, as well as Alex & Olmsted coming down from Baltimore to join the fun. These companies have been performing professionally for years, throughout the US, some even touring internationally. All performances are family friendly. In addition, this year’s festival will feature two workshops on Sunday December 29th and Monday December 30th run by professional puppeteers including Mary Nagler, of Whorls of Wonder Puppet Theater, as well as our first ever Adopt-a-Puppet program, with over thirty puppets to choose from!
