GENWORTH Free Community Day at Lewis Ginter on Labor Day

Genworth Free Community Day is at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens on Labor Day, Monday, September 2. All visitors receive free admission from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Community Day will be a busy day at the garden, visit the tips on the event page for details to help with planning your day.

  • See the exciting exhibit Women’s Work: The Lee Park Collection on display at the Lora M. Robins Library in the Kelley Education Center from 10 am to 4 pm. There will also be a craft activity available for the little ones.
  • Explore Flourish: 40 Years and Growing, a horticulture exhibit that consists of 4 main displays in the Central Garden, Flagler Garden, the Children’s Garden, and Grace Arents Garden.
  • The renovated Klaus Family Tree House is open for all to enjoy.
  • Waterway in the Children’s Garden will be open for those looking to cool off (weather permitting).
