Looking for some Easter Fun for your little ones?  Check out these classic events and some other opportunities to celebrate the season in 2023.

Dominion Energy Family Easter

Saturday, April 8th Maymont Carriage House Lawn 9am-3pm

Bring the whole family to Maymont for one of Richmond’s favorite spring traditions! This year’s “eggs-travaganza” is bigger than ever, spreading out across the Carriage House Lawn and beyond, all the way to the Maymont Mansion! Bring a picnic blanket, pick up tempting treats from local food trucks and make a day of it, with 100 acres to “eggs-plore.” Advance reservations are recommended, with two entry times, 9am-12pm or 12pm-3pm. Fee.

Easter on Parade

Monument Avenue between Allen and Davis Avenues

Easter on Parade, the beloved Richmond tradition that showcases attendees “parading” up and down scenic Monument Avenue.  

After a three-year hiatus, one of Richmond’s beloved and most festive springtime events, Easter on Parade, will return to Monument Avenue on Sunday, April 9, from 1 – 5 p.m. between Davis and North Allen Avenues. The event is free and will be held rain or shine.

This year marks the first time the event organizers partnered with official sponsors to help produce the event. As presenting sponsor of the event, Kroger Mid-Atlantic wanted to be part of the team that returns this free, family-friendly, and nostalgic event to the community.

Egg Dash

Westchester Commons  Saturday, April 8th at 11am

Easter is THIS Sunday, but before the bunny drops all his eggs on your kids’ doorstep, eggs will be be popping up at Westchester Commons for an Egg Dash, hosted by Hope Point Church Westchester Campus, this Saturday, April 8th, in the field next to Napa Kitchen. Easter Eggstravaganza

10am-3pm Carter Mountain Orchard Charlottesville, VA

This year’s Easter Eggstravaganza will take place over two weekends: Saturday, April 1 & Saturday, April 8. Carter Mountain Orchard will be open 10am–5pm. Fee.
