Friday, June 12 is First Responders Night at Southside Speedway. All first responders will receive a discounted $13 admission ticket (must show an official badge or ID card to receive the discount). There will be all types of emergency vehicles on display at the track when the gates open at 6:00 p.m., as well as a pre-race on-track parade of first responder vehicles at 7:20 p.m. Be sure to bring the whole family out early on June 12 so the kids can meet your local police, fire and rescue first responders!
Emergency vehicles will be lined up to touch and see from Chesterfield Police Dept., Chesterfield Sheriff’s Office, Chesterfield Vol. Rescue Squad, Chesterfield Animal Services Officer Control, and more!
On Friday, June 12 the gates open to the public at 6:00 p.m., Practice / Qualifying (Practifying) starts at 5:30 p.m., and racing gets underway at7:30 p.m.

Southside Speedway is a 1/3 mile, paved oval track located on Genito Road in Midlothian, Virginia. The speedway was established in 1959 by J.M. Wilkinson and is currently run by his daughter, Sue W. Clements. The speedway features seven divisions including Late Models, Modifieds, Grand Stocks, Street Stocks, U-Cars, Legends and Bandoleros. In 2015 the speedway hosts twelve nights of racing from April 3, 2015 through August 28, 2015.
