Explore the Outdoors with CURIOUS GEORGE

Spring is the perfect time to explore the outdoors and the Community Idea Stations are making it even more fun than ever. On April 19th at 1pm, join the fun at Huguenot Park at 10901 Robious Road, North Chesterfield, VA for loads of fun with their Explore the Outdoors event.
It’s a free day of exploring hands-on fun with science and nature. The Community Idea Stations, Science Matters and Ready to Learn, and the Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation are coming together to host a special day for children and families. You will explore and learn about lots of outdoor experiences, including:
- Outdoor adventures
- Healthy living
- Environmental science
- Nature walks
- Tree climbing
- Archery
- Fishing
- Paddle boarding (on dry land)
- Gardening
- Camping
- Art-making
- Much more
Curious George, Smokey the Bear and several Mermaids will join the fun. This is a free event and there will be snacks, drinks, and great food available for purchase. Don’t miss the fun!
