The 11th Annual Ashland Train Day is a railroad themed event for the whole family.  Visit the Ashland Train Station along the tracks for a day of fun and excitement.
There will be:

• Railroad music and songs
• Miniature children’s train rides
• Children’s hand pedal trains
• Children’s games and activities
• Lots and lots of model trains (Lego, wooden and electric)
• Model train racing
• Memorabilia displays
• A locomotive moon bounce
• Antique railroad equipment
• A real caboose camper
• Area railroad organizations
• Train Day mascots & the Engineer Bears
• New this year  – a CSX Stage sponsored by CSX Transportation

There will also be a real collection of Amtrak and CSX freight trains right out front passing by all day long. Make sure you wave to the engineers, they love the attention.

Please come dressed in your bib overalls, bandana and engineer hat!

Bring your camera.  Photo opportunities are all day long and our mascots just love having their picture taken with the kids.

Free trolley shuttles are available from the Ashland-Junction Shopping Center, Saint Ann’s Church and Henry Clay Elementary School all day.  Parking is limited near the train station as N. and S. Railroad Avenues are closed for the day.
