Spring Break at Maymont April 1st – 5th
Indoor exhibits, family scavenger hunts, adventures in vegetable growing, Lions in the Library, animal profile, and much more!

Raise the Roof All Week Long at the Science Museum of Virginia
Don’t miss this interactive display of fun for kids of all ages – imploding buildings, create your own structure, see a real Yurt, and much more! And don’t miss March Ratness when rats play basketball at the Museum.

A Million Blooms and Pinwheels for Prevention at Lewis Ginter April 1st – June 2nd
The Garden celebrates spring with millions of blooms throughout the season: daffodils, cherry blossoms, tulips, irises, roses and peonies. And through April 30th, in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month, more than 3,000 pinwheels are “planted” in the Children’s Garden along the lake edge. Each pinwheel represents a child in Virginia who has been served during the past year by Prevent Child Abuse Virginia‘s Healthy Families program.

Petting Zoo at Short Pump Town Center March 30th – April 7th
Visit the free Spring Petting Farm in Short Pump Town Center’s Main Plaza. Weather permitting, you can visit baby chicks, bunnies, lambs, goats & more. The Spring Petting Farm will be open daily from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; closed Easter Sunday. Short Pump Town Center is located at 11800 West Broad St., Richmond. 804-360-1700

HistoryMobile at Maymont March 31st – April 2nd
Virginia’s Civil War 150 HistoryMobile Coming to Maymont. Tractor-trailer ‘museum on wheels’ is filled with interactive exhibits and activities.

Yankee Candle Spring Fling School Vacation Week Williamsburg, March 30th – April 7th
Book readings, scavenger hunts, Giggles the Clown, Hawaiian Entertainment Company, and much more. Fun for all ages and just a short drive.

Spring Break Activities at Children’s Museum of Richmond  April 2nd – 5th
Not a camp, but still lots of fun at CMoR! CMoR Central, Short Pump and Chesterfield all have something in store. Click to learn more.

Family Fun Fair at Chesterfield Town Center March 28th – April 7th
A family fun fair at Garden Ridge side of parking lot. Bring the family for cotton candy, funnel cakes, thrilling rides, and games and more. Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 5pm to 10pm and Friday-Sunday 1pm to 10pm. Fee.

Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, VA is OPEN all week

Kings Dominion, Doswell, VA is OPEN all week

Spring Break at the Virginia Living Museum March 30th – April 7th
Abbitt Planetarium open daily, Miss Virginia visit, early morning bird walks, Nature Fun and Fitness days, special cooking classes, and much more.

Spring Break Activities at the Virginia Air and Space Center April 1st – 6th
The Virginia Air & Space Center will be hopping with a number of activities over spring break 2013, April 1 – 6! From butterflies in IMAX and hands-on Monarch make-n-takes, to a big red dog named Clifford, families will find something for everyone! Please call (757) 727-0900 for more information.  The Virginia Air & Space Center is open daily, April 1 – 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  IMAX Showtimes can vary.  Please call for showtimes and ticket information. The Virginia Air & Space Center is located at 600 Settlers Landing Road in Downtown Hampton.  Take I-64 to exit 267.  Follow Settlers Landing Road and the Center will be on the left.
