Garden Explorations for Families- Birds in Winter.  3:30pm.  Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens.  Children (all ages) with accompanying adult. Enjoy story time and a fun-filled adventure while exploring different areas of the Garden. We observe our surroundings using a variety of hands-on activities and take-home treasures. Themes change each month and new stories, activities and garden areas are introduced each week. Garden Explorations for Families is an excellent opportunity for homeschoolers!  Fee.

Advanced Auto Parts Monster Jam: Thunder Nationals.  Advance Auto Parts® Thunder Nationals® features the same massive superstars from Monster Jam, but in a more intimate arena setting. Staged on purpose-built concrete courses, all the action that these monsters are famous for is fully intact, and even heightened by the smaller size of the tracks. Chesterfield Nights In March at CMoR Chesterfield.  5pm-7pm.  CMoR Chesterfield – 6629 Lake Harbour Drive, Midlothian, VA23112 Weeknights in March have extended hours.  Children enrolled in Chesterfield County Elementary Schools receive free admission beginning at 5:00pm with voucher, good for any weeknight during the month of March.  Adults are only $4 from 5:00pm-7:00pm.  CMoR Members are free.

Kite Festival.  10am-4pm.  DoreyPark.  For all ages. The Richmond Air Force Kite Club in cooperation with Henrico Recreation and Parks invite you for a day of kite flying, children’s activities, exhibits, demonstrations, and more. Free kites to the first 300 kids! Children’s activities and exhibits will take place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Demonstrations and public kite flying will be available 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Concessions will be available for purchase. Free.

Family Yoga Classes. 4pm. A family yoga class for parent and child to have some fun bonding through yoga. Come out to the first class and see if you like it. If you do, sign up then and get a discount for the entire session. First class for one parent and one child is $15. Each additional parent or sibling is only $5 more! This will be a six week session with continuing classes resuming on Sunday Feb. 17- Mar. 17. All classes will be at 4:00pm.
