If your looking for a place to wear out your little one when it is either too hot or cold to play outside, here are details about the indoor play areas in the Richmond area that offer open playtime in their facility. Hints for a successful
visit to the indoor play areas below:
-Bring socks for both parents and kids – you may not be planning to play but kids often need help on the equipment and you will want to be prepared just in case.
-Waivers are generally required and/or parents must stay while their little ones enjoy playing.

Kangaroo Jac's is a walk- in indoor inflatable play center for children 10 and under with a separate area with two jumpies for kids under three. There is a fee to play, so check the website for reduced rates on certain days and times.

Cartwheels & Coffee is a gathering place for parents of pre-schoolers & infants. Pre-schoolers can enjoy playing in an enclosed playland while their parents relax in the cafe with a great cup locally roasted coffee. There is also a separate play area for infants with toys geared just for them and Wi-Fi for parents. Cartwheels and Coffee also offers all kinds of art, dance and music classes for children.

Inflation Nation offers open jump all day. From the 28´ high Inflatable Rock Wall to the Toddler play area, children will laugh and play and bounce off all of that excess energy. The Playroom TriCities is an indoor amusement center for kids of all ages with over 6,500 square feet of room to play and party. The Romp N’ Roll gym is a great place for kids to exercise and burn energy while having a ton of fun! They offer Open Gym at specified times (click on Open Gym on the home page for more details) for a fee, but if you are enrolled in a class it is free! They even offer a passbook for additional savings.

Pump it up is full of giant inflatables for climbing, bouncing and sliding. They offer first come-first served Pop-In Playtimes, for a fee, during the week at specified times (look on the website under ‘party packages’ for details).
