In the newest class at Romp n' Roll, little chefs will learn the fundamentals of cooking while serving up delicious treats, including “cheesy cheese balls”, “gooey cinnamon rolls”, “sunshine shakes”, and “personal pizzas”. Each week, our chefs will add the recipe to their cookbook and add decorations to their aprons, both of which they will take home at the end of the session. 1 hour. Ages 3yr – 5yr.

Young Chefs Academy is a cooking school created just for children ages three to fifteen. Through hands-on participation in a variety of cooking themed activities, children can build life-enriching skills and experience the thrill of discovering, creating and tasting new foods. Children can join them for one class at a time or become a member of the Chefs Club and attend class once a week. Classes are an hour-and-a-half long and are organized around a monthly theme. YCA KinderCooks is designed specifically for the 3 to 6 year old age range and is drop off. They also offer Mommy and Me classes, workshops, field trips and birthday parties.

fingers and forks demonstrates what nutritional cooking is all about! Young
chefs experience the art of cooking through exceptional hands-on classes in our
state-of-the-art kitchen. They have the chance to see that there are endless and delicious options to be healthy. fingers and forks also incorporates important lessons on manners and etiquette, uses local and fresh foods, focuses on eating “outside the lunchbox,” and so much more! fingers and forks enjoys induction cooking provided by WOLF which creates a very safe and friendly cooking experience. Classes run an hour and a half; follow a monthly schedule; age’s range between 4 to 17 years old. You can also see fingers and forks in Richmond area YMCA GirlForces, Girl Scouts, Richmond Parks and Recreation Summer Programs and Schools! And Girl Scout troops can earn a fingers and forks patch. In addition, fingers and forks offers unforgettable cooking birthday parties!
