Campers will spend their days learning the ways of ogres and royalty getting to know all the fairytale characters along the way. Each day will be filled with creative drama, movement and music in addition to a mix of theatre related arts and crafts. The campers will get to see the professional production of Shrek. On the last day they will perform selections from the show for friends and family on that very same stage!  Virginia Rep’s Shrek themed spring break camp is designed for school aged children currently in Kindergarten through 5th grade. 9AM-4PM, extended day options available.  $275

Mad Science
Mad Science Lab, Glen Allen.
Spring Science Sampler camp is a mix of themes taken from the upcoming 2014 summer camp season.  Each day will be a different theme.  The kids will stay busy in the morning exploring topics such as chemistry, space, robotics & spy academy!  After lunch, we will take a break for movie and then back to more science.  Camps will go from 9 AM to 4 PM and run $250.  There is a $20 discount for siblings.  These camps are for grades 1 to 5.  Before and after care is available too from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.  April 14th-18th.

Master Cho’s offers a full day camp, from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm with extended care available. Children ages 5 – 12 will participate in Tae Kwon Do classes, craft projects, rock climbing, field trips, character building activities and more!   The cost of the camp is $260 per week for non-members and $230 per week for members.

Tuckahoe Sports
Spring Break All-Skills Baseball Series  April 14th-17th (M-TH)  (Ages 8-13) 9am-4pm.  This camp will cover all aspects of the game, including infield, outfield play, hitting, pitching, base running and baseball IQ. Players will be grouped according to age.
American Dreams Spring Break Softball Camp   April 14th-16th (M-W)  (Ages 7+) 9am-5pm.  Games, instruction, and more games! This camp will be tons of fun, but will also teach softball skills for girls of all ages!

Forest Fairies & Spring Sprites – Ages 5 – 7 – Wednesday & Thursday, April 16 + 17, 9 am – noon. Build a woodland fort and then head out into the forest seeking toadstools, crystal stones, fairy umbrellas and other natural secrets.
Camp Cuisine – Ages 8 – 12 NEW – Monday & Tuesday, April 14 + 15, 9 am – noon.  Gardening, harvesting, cooking and eating is so much fun! Kid-creations include campfire s’mores, root and stone soup, solar-oven pizza, and more!

The Little Gym camps combine physical activity and games with arts, crafts and special events.  Camps are available for children 3 to 8 years old. Camps are half-day camps for children 3 (and potty independent) to 8 years old from 9:30 to 12:30 p.m.  Camps are M-F April 14 – 18, 2014

SCOR  offers School Holiday Camps for Kids both Full day and Half day All Sports, Soccer Skills and Lil’ Kicker’s (Half day only) camps that are Fun and educational!   They also offer Lil Kickers soccer camps for children ages 3-9 years.  SCOR also offers the Extreme Soccer Academy  for the serious soccer player who wants to take their game to the highest level.  This Academy combines elite level soccer training with soccer specific speed, agility, and weight training.  Ages 9-16.  SCOR also offers a Flag Football Camp.

Fox Pointe Farm
Weekend Residential Camps are similar to the week-long overnight camps. They begin on Friday at 3:30PM and end on Sunday at 6:00PM. Riders work on fundamental tools needed to be an effective rider which provides the opportunity for students to review and strengthen existing skills.  Students receive quality instruction from trainer and owner Colleen Seely who has 12 years of experience teaching and managing successful summer equestrian programs.

SPARC ‘s Spring Break Camp

Back by a popular demand! Students will enjoy a one-week intensive, all-day camp that will culminate in an exciting performance. April 14th -18th.  9am-5pm.  Show material/title is TBA. Students will work with SPARC’s highly acclaimed acting, vocal and dance instructors. In addition to song and dance, actors will work together to create simple props or set pieces, enjoy theatrical games and exercises, have secret pal gifts, plus all the other elements that go into putting on a big hit musical. This wonderful one-week “Broadway Boot Camp” is THE perfect way to spend your spring break, so don’t miss out on your chance to be a star with SPARC! No audition necessary!!! All students will participate in a final share for family and friends in the Sara Belle November Educational Theater at SPARC on Friday, April 18.  $300

Camp Free2BMe
Camp Free2BMe is specifically designed for kids 8 to 18 who have a diagnosis of Autism, Asperger’s, PDD-NOS or other related developmental delay. We partner non-autistic peers with our campers that have autism and go out into the community on fun filled field trips which include The Richmond Metro Zoo, Pocahontas State Park, swimming, bowling, Swaders Sports Park, just to name a few!   April 14th through the 18th.  Monday through Friday 9AM to 3 PM.

Whether campers are spending the day swimming, knocking down pins at a bowling alley, or working on their latest martial arts skill, you can be sure your child will have a great experience in a positive and safe environment. Simply put, our camps are focused on good constructive fun, coupled with awesome exercise! They will have a blast, while building character, self-discipline, and increasing self-esteem. Most importantly they will develop a “Yes I Can” positive attitude! Camp is $189 per week which includes all of our field trips and activities and two healthy snacks per day. Martial Arts World of West End has been serving Greater Richmond for over 18 years and is now in their BRAND NEW LOCATION off Ridgefield Pkwy. At the M.Y Taekwondo summer camp, kids will have fun while building strength, confidence, focus, and discipline through taekwondo training and other activities. Indoor activities vary from education in Korean culture and language to arts and crafts to nunchuk training. Children will go outside to play sports and games.  It’s designed for kids 4-13 years old.( full day or half day camp).  Spring break camp April 12th – 16th.
