The Children’s Museum of Richmond, Central and Short Pump, is back. A weekly, half or full day camp, for children 2 ½ - 6 years old. Children participate in a safe, noncompetitive, nurturing experience where learning is disguised as fun. Making friends, having new experiences, and building self-confidence by concurring challenges and developing new skills is what we are all about! Young Chefs Academy is a cooking school created just for children ages three to fifteen. Each camp consists of a three-hour session for three, four or five consecutive days. Campers will get to experience new tastes and learn to prepare some basic recipes from various cuisines "with a twist". Themes include; Cool Treats, Celebrity Chefs, Chocolate Adventure, Experiencing Italy, Top Secret Recipes and More!

Romp n' Roll Camp is like a big kid's camp on training wheels! We have a variety of fun weekly themes. Each day, campers participate in Gym activities, Art projects, and Music time. You can watch this theme in your own home town with the season’s upcoming holiday parades! In class, we’ll listen to marching music, play pretend parades, and help your preschooler develop rhythm and coordination skills. So much fun will be had playing instruments (including drums!), singing, movin' and groovin'! We will also incorporate some quality crafts and games to make this "mini-camp" like no other!

This summer, children ages 2 and up are invited to flip, fly, swing, roll, and laugh with CORE Kids Academy! Your child will have fun movin' and groovin' during fun gymnastics and movement activities. We will instill self-confidence in every child and work together with each camper to show them that their best is more than they ever imagined! No potty training required. Camp will take place on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, June 5 through August 30. Our camp is a gymnastics and fitness focus, but no prior gymnastics experience is necessary to attend.

A unique summer camp experience for children ages 3-13 that is guaranteed to improve your child's coordination and motor development--all in the name of fun!
