Looking for some trick or treat fun in RVA? Then look no further!

Friday, October 18th

Tuckahoe YMCA Trunk or Treat. 5:30pm-7:30pm. Tuckahoe YMCA. A fun- filled evening of trick- or -treating, hayrides, face painting, music and candy! FREE and open to the community! There will be prizes for the best costume and best trunk. No registration required.


Friday, October 25th

22nd Annual Pumpkin Festival. 5pm-7pm. Gayton Crossing Shopping Center. Trick or Treat with the merchants, Special Henrico Police presentation, Interactive Fire Truck Display and more! Free.

Truck or Treat. 5:30pm. Shady Grove YMCA. Enjoy crafts, inflatables, and a food truck that will run from 5:30 -8:00 p.m. There will also be a magic show from 8:00 – 8:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the community.


Saturday, October 26th

Scarytown. Noon-4pm. Carytown. List of activities: *12-2 pm Location: Carytown, participating merchants Trick-or-treating at all stores displaying a pumpkin sign. *12-4 pm Location: Capital One
Capital One has teamed up with CultureWorks Richmond and will have Halloween dance performances. They’ll also be teaching a Thriller dance, passing out cake pops, and have face painting! *2:30-4 pm Location: Carytown (beginning at The Byrd Theatre & Foundation)
The famous Richmond Zombie Walk! This is a Richmond favorite event and quite the site to behold. Don’t get too close, the zombies get hungry while walking through Carytown.

Halloween Hoopla! 1pm-5pm. Children’s Museum Downtown. Dress up in your favorite costume for an afternoon of trick-or-treating, pumpkin experiments, and MORE! Advanced registration for Halloween Hoopla is suggested. This is a ticketed event. Fee.

Sunday, October 27th

Trunk or Treat at Hardywood West Creek Benefiting SCAN. Noon-4pm.
Hardywood West Creek. Join Hardywood and other local businesses, organizations and community members as they park and decorate the trunk of their car or tent and pass out candy as kids “trunk or treat” from car-to-car. Trunk or Treat allows kids to have all the trick-or-treating fun without crossing streets or worrying about traffic. In addition to trunk or treating, guests can enjoy family-friendly fall activities, food trucks, and enter a raffle for a chance to win a few awesome prizes! Trunk or Treat is free to attend. All ages welcome!

Thursday, October 31st

Squirrel-O-Ween 2019. 4pm-7pm. Flying Squirrels Baseball at The Diamond, 3001 N Boulevard, Richmond. Trick-or-treating, hay rides, costume contests, games in the Food Lion Party Den & more FUNN! FREE for all ages.
