Clowns from around the world are coming to town to attend an International Clown Convention in RVA. They are offering an opportunity for up to sixty children ages eight to fifteen the chance to learn about clowning.

Where: Double Tree-Richmond Koger Center, 1021 Koger Center Blvd., Richmond, VA 23235
When: Wednesday April 4th, 2017
Ages: 8yrs – 15yrs
Time: 3:00pm to 6:00pm (Please pack a snack, the kids will be having a small break half way through the workshop.)

to three children pays only $35.00 which gives your family one membership/bi-monthly clown magazine for a year.)

This is the fourth time this program is being offered by Clowns of America International’s Junior Joey Program as
an outreach to local children in the city in which their convention is being held. Last year was held in Kansas City,
MO, the year before that in Las Vegas, NV and before that Erie, PA. Clowns of America International will be teaching some fun confidence building life skills through the art of clowning. The kids who participate in this program will be registered with COAI as a Junior Joey Member and they will receive a clown magazine called The New Calliope every
other month for one year.
COAI is a non-profit organization dedicated to educate and offer pathways to valuable information and resources for
the Art of Clowning.

Pre-Register your child before March 31st, 2018 for this fun opportunity to be trained by Professional Clowns.
Paying in advance will secure a spot for your child to participate in this amazing opportunity on
Wednesday, April 4th, 2018 at the Double Tree-Richmond Koger Center.
