Princess Ballerina Preschool Dance Camp

Preschool princess ballerinas learn some of the fundamentals of ballet technique, read stories, and watch the Royal Ballet perform as they dance along.  Dancers become fairies, princesses, king and queens!  Join us for a fun week of learning and make believe, ending with a mini recital on Friday.  Taught by professional dancer Elizabeth Diaz Krash, a former member of the American Ballet Theater.  For tiny dancers Ages 4-7, July 9-13, 1:30 – 4:00 p.m.


BEACH PARTY!  Preschool Art Camp

Draw a sandcastle, paint glittery mermaids, and pirate ships!  Paint Dory and her friends under the sea! Make a mosaic photo frame with sea shells. Preschool children enjoy stories, movement, games, and art activities – developing both large and small motor skills in nurturing classes.  Fun-filled mornings include outdoor playground time.  For Children Ages 3-6, August 20-24.


Elementary Art Camps!

Children rotate between art activities, snack, and game time or outdoor play at these popular summer camps taught by professional artists.  Small class sizes ensure each child receives individual attention.  Each week ends with an art exhibit on Fridays for friends and family.  This year’s themes include Cartoon Mania, Australian Adventures, Star Wars, Nature Explorers, Let’s Go Europe, Myths & Legends, and Animal Art.  See the details at!


Teens & Tweens Studio Art Camps

Teen and Tweens artists develop their own personal interests and images as they explore relief printmaking, sculpture, drawing the portrait in charcoal, pen and ink animal drawings, and painting on canvas.  The small classes taught by professional artists focus on individual attention and encourage the unique creativity of each student.  June 25-29, and August 27-31.


Musical Theater Camp –   Disney’s THE LION KING! Jr

Join Simba, Mufasa, Scar, Timon & Pumbaa in the African savannah as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle… and back again, in this inspiring coming-of-age tale.  Featuring amazing songs including “The Circle of Life”, “Just Can’t Wait to be King”, and “Hakuna Matata”, the camp is directed by Sylvia Cooper. Every child is guaranteed a part on stage!  Each camp ends with a full evening production on the last day of camp. Children develop self-confidence in this action-packed camp. Snacks, T-shirt, musical CD & book included.  For Rising 1st – Rising 8th graders. 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Choose from July 30-August 3; August 6-10, or August 13-17.



LEGOS & ROBOTS!  Learn how to build and design Robots using the LEGO EV3 system.  Students will learn basic robotic engineering, programming principals, and the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Robotics Invention system.  Teamwork skills will be emphasized as the students work together in small groups to design, build, and program robots to complete missions presented to family and friends on the last day of camp.  No previous experience required.  For ages 9-14.  Enrollment limited to 12 – sign up early!  Choose from June 25-29; July 16-20; July 23-27; July 30- August 3, or August 20-24.



Chess Camps

HOW TO PLAY AND WIN!  Discover strategies that build a strong chess foundation, one piece at a time in this popular camp! Put these strategies to work in Pawn Games that test your skills. Conquer the mysteries of check, checkmate and stalemate. Learn to start the game using an opening strategy that will keep your opponents on the defensive. Set up checkmate patterns that will help you win in the endgame. Players are paired according to age and ability.  For Grades K-6th, 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.  Choose from June 18-22; July 2-3, 5-6; or August 6-10.


Music Camps

JAZZ ENSEMBLES Students focus on the essentials of ensemble performance –  tone quality, articulation, phrasing, and musicality.  Students will perform together, and be introduced to jazz improvisation and theory.  Open to all instrumentalists.  Ability to play a musical instrument required. Ages 9+, 9:00 – noon July 16-20

MUSIC RECORDING ARTS Students will use Apple GarageBand to learn about digital music production and recording from a professional musician and music producer, including how to record a live performance, as well as capture sounds to be used as samples or sound effects.  Students must have either a Mac laptop or Ipad.  Ages 9+, 9:00 – noon, July 23-27
