Seymour’s Living Lab at CMoR!

What’s new at The Children’s Museum of Richmond this October?   Seymour’s Living Lab!

Seymour’s Living Lab is a program stationed on the museum floor where families can tinker on a variety of STEM challenges!

This program is primarily facilitated by undergraduate and graduate students at VCU. It is part of a national Living Laboratory initiative designed to educate the public about child development by bringing research into informal learning environments, like CMoR!

On some occasions VCU students will be collecting data on activities (with parental consent), and on other daysVCU students will be demonstrating previously completed research studies (without data collection) to showcase the science behind child development.

SCIENCE proves that children LEARN through PLAY!
