This month, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will host a lazy, late summer afternoon party on the lawn at Historic Bloemendaal.  Bloemendaal House was the original home of the Lakeside Wheel Club (1895).   Families can enjoy barbershop quartet performances,  historical bicycle demonstrations, or step inside the Bloemendaal House for informal tours.   Kids will enjoy the lawn games and dress up photo opportunities.  There will also be icy treats and picnic fare for sale.

This family-friendly event offers a great end-of-season celebration before school begins.

Saturday, August 26th from Noon – 3pm OR Sunday, August 27th from Noon – 4pm.

Regular garden hours 9am-5pm, with an 8am opening Saturdays and Sundays from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day.

This event is included in regular Garden admission.
