A Richmond favorite for many years!  Come meet Peter Rabbit as he poses for photographs on Saturday and Sunday from 1-4pm.

There will be many activities in the Children’s Garden, including drawing with sidewalk chalk, hula hooping, and making garden hats out of materials such as bags and ribbons. Families can also borrow a basket from the Story Tree —  inside the basket is a book, a blanket to spread out on and an activity related to the book.

Food is available for purchase in the Garden Cafe.

Enjoy one of Richmond’s favorite Easter traditions with the Easter Bunny, crafts, games, live entertainment and more! Activity pass required for most stations. Food will be available for purchase. Most activities are suitable for ages 4 to 10.

Eggtivity Zone
There’s a new way to gather eggs during Dominion Family Easter. No more timed hunts, no more hurried egg collecting! In the freshly hatched Eggtivity Zone, kids will visit egg stations at their own pace to receive eggs. They can participate in up to five egg station activities with the purchase of an Activity Pass, and each station guarantees one egg per play with a chance to win more. Plus some eggs contain a coupon for an “Eggstra” prize. See you in the Eggtivity Zone for more fun, more flexibility, and a more family-friendly “Eggsperience”! Space and supplies are limited.

Hoppin’ Fun Zone
In addition to gathering eggs, kids will find an assortment of amusements in the Fun Zone to make the most of the day. With an Activity Pass, they can choose up to five activities.  Space and supplies are limited.  Visit the website for more details.

 

Easter on Parade

Monument Avenue between Allen and Davis Avenues

Easter on Parade, the beloved Richmond tradition that showcases attendees “parading” up and down scenic Monument Avenue.  There will be music, arts, crafts, children’s activities, food, balloon artistry, and a petting zoo. Don’t miss the people and pet watching – a favorite of adults!   A highlight of the is the ever-popular Pet Bonnet and People Bonnet Showcases, held at 3 pm and 4 pm, respectively, on the Zayde R. Dotts Main Stage at Allen Avenue.

 

Bunny Photos

Enjoy a visit with the Easter Bunny at your local mall and get a photo with the bunny.  Bunnies are at the Short Pump Mall, Regency Square, and Chesterfield Towne Center.

 

Petting Farm

Visit with baby bunnies, chicks, ducks, lambs, and more in Short Pump Mall’s Main Plaza.  The event is held April 8th-15th! , 11am-5pm.    For more information, please call 804-360-1700. A $1 suggested donation per person is requested. All proceeds will go to the Maymont Foundation.  Weather permitting and free.
