Celebrate Black History Month at CMoR!

black history monthEnjoy educational performances highlighting some of the most influential names in history at the Children’s Museum of Richmond!

  • Saturday, Feb. 6 – 11am & 1pm: Elijah Coles-Brown will perform as Frederick Douglass at 11am and recite Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech at 1pm.
  • Saturday, Feb. 20 – 11am & 1pm: Elegba Folklore Society will perform two traditional African and African American dances.
  • Saturday, Feb. 27 – 11am & 1pm: Ezibu Muntu African Dance and Cultural Foundation will engage children in fun, interactive performances.
  • Saturday, Feb. 27 – 4pm – 5pm: Bright Star Touring Theatre will perform “George Washington Carver & Friends”.
