The University of Richmond has just unveiled it’s new kids club – The Spiderlings!  If you are a parent with ties to the U of R community and would like to enjoy school sports with your family read further…

The McDonald’s Spiderlings Kids Club members receive free tickets to select football and men’s basketball games, along with free tickets to all women’s basketball games!  All this for a $5 membership fee!

Even more is included:

• Kids receive a McDonald’s Spiderlings Kids Club T-shirt & Membership Card
• There are special giveaways and exclusive McDonald’s Spiderlings Kids Club events (last year they had a princess and pirate tea party before a kids club game with real princesses, crafts and treats…the kids all dressed up and it was so fun!)
• There is a weekly newsletter and Happy Birthday email for members
• Member parents have access to discounted basketball ticket packages
• Chances to win exclusive access to field, locker room and press box
• And last but not least – Kids can enjoy running through the High Five Tunnel at McDonald’s Spiderlings Kids Club basketball games!

How Does It Work?

Parents enroll their children online through the website.  The McDonald’s Spiderlings Kids Club is open to kids in 8th grade and below.

When parents call in to reserve a kids club ticket for their child, they will simply purchase their tickets as well.  As long as the parents order at the same time, everyone will be seated together. Parent tickets for kids club members are $15 for football.  There is a special “pick plan” for basketball where parents can choose 4 or 6 games (many parents will match with all the kids club games) for a discounted rate.  The McDonald’s Spiderlings Kids Club basketball games have not been announced yet.

What About This Season?

McDonald’s Spiderlings Kids Club football games this season are October 10th verus Elon and October 31st versus Albany.   Both games are a 3:30pm – a great time for families.   On the 10th they are hosting a Spiderlings Tailgate, and on the 31st, a Halloween party with trick or treat!  Each of those games the Spiderlings members will also receive a giveaway!

The Spiderlings Kids Club basketball games have not been announced yet.
