Virginia Repertory Theatre will offer day camps for rising 1st -10th graders and a half-day camp for preschoolers and rising kindergarteners.
Virginia Rep camps give students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of drama, providing an exciting and comprehensive understanding of professional theatre.
Dramatic Adventures Half-Day Camp for Preschoolers (3 to 5 year olds)
Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 12:00pm
Session One- Goodnight Moon, June 29-July 3, 2015, Location TBD
Session Two- Pooh’s Corner, August 17-21, 2015, at Virginia Rep’s Children’s Theatre at Willow Lawn
Stage Explorers Summer Day Camp (Rising 1st-6th graders)
Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm with extended day option
Session One (two weeks): June 15-26, 2015 at Virginia Rep’s Children’s Theatre
Session Two (one week): August 24-28, 2015 at Virginia Rep’s Children’s Theatre
Young Performers Institute (Rising 7th-10th graders)
Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm
July 6-17, 2015 at Virginia Rep Center downtown
Summer Showtime! Musical Theatre Day Camp (By Audition)
(Rising 3rd-10th graders) at Virginia Rep’s Children’s Theatre
August 3-14, 2015 – Registration is by audition only
Public Showcase Performances on Friday, August 14 and Saturday, August 15, 2015
Auditions: Saturday, March 7 and Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Virginia Rep’s Children’s Theatre.
