Lewis Ginter has long been a family friendly destination, but did you know it has a special class designed for families?  Garden Explorations for Families is a class open to all ages with an accompanying adult (although most enjoyed by the 4-7 year old range).

Enjoy story time and a fun-filled adventure while exploring different areas of the Garden.  They observe the surroundings using a variety of hands-on activities and take-home treasures.  Themes change each month and new stories, activities and garden areas are introduced each week.   During January, the focus will be Animals in Winter.  During February, they will study Birds.  Garden Explorations for Families is also an excellent opportunity for homeschoolers!

Classes are Tuesdays at 3:30pm until the end of the school year, then move to mornings.  Registration is required and the cost is $8 per child plus Garden admission for all participants.  To register call 262-9887 ext. 322.  For more information, please visit www.lewisginter.org
