There is so much fun at the Children’s Museum of Richmond and the upcoming visits with Clifford are going to be a blast.

A weekend-long celebration featuring birthday activities and festivities in honor of our good friend Clifford the Big Red Dog’s 50th birthday will be loads of fun. Clifford himself will visit all three museum locations between Saturday, January 26th and Monday, January 28th!

CMoR Chesterfield

Begin the weekend of celebration with Clifford’s birthday party in CMoR’s Chesterfield location from 10am – 4pm on Saturday, January 26th! Clifford will be there to enjoy story times, art projects, activities with PBS, sweet treats and much more….along with a special birthday serenade by guests at noon.

Clifford will even blow out his candle on his cake and accept his birthday cards!

Clifford’s special wish is for all families who come to celebrate with him to bring a book to donate to the Children’s Museum of Richmond’s Book Bank. This makes it possible for all children in the Richmond area to have a chance to own a book and appreciate the joy of reading!

CMoR Short Pump

Get ready Short Pump – you’re next on the tour!On Sunday, January 27th Clifford makes celebratory appearances to accept his birthday cards, have story times and enjoy special activities in the art studio at the Short Pump location. Clifford continues his birthday wish and asks you to bring a book to donate to the Children’s Museum Book Bank.

CMoR Central

Next is the Central CMoR location.

Clifford will finally land at our Central location on Monday, January 28th where he once again participates in special art activities, story times and accepts his birthday cards. And, once again Clifford asks that you bring a book to donate to the Children’s Museum of Richmond’s Book Bank in honor of his birthday and 50th birthday wish.

Let’s help make this an extra special birthday for Clifford and all bring at least one book for the Book Bank. It’s a fun way to celebrate Clifford’s birthday and help other kids have books too!
